-Shipping Info for Domestic and International Orders

Ready to Ship and in stock items will be fulfilled within 1-3 Business Days. We ship Monday-Wednesday-Friday and in the order that we receive. Our cutoff time to pull orders is 12pm CST for same day shipments.  If you need something immediately please contact us and we will do our best to expedite it out but we cannot guarantee arrival on any order regardless of upgrading to Priority Mail or UPS Ground. While we work our hardest to get your order out, once it is out of our hands and into their system any delays in shipment must be taken up with UPS or USPS directly and are out of our control. USPS and UPS rates give an estimated arrival time but the only option that guarantees delivery is Overnight through both services. Shipping costs will not be refunded by Southern Mess in the event of a delay caused by USPS or UPS. 

For custom, backordered or personalized orders, Items will be shipped after the 2-3 week processing period, unless finished earlier in which I will gladly get it out to you. Backorder items with a date will ship approximately around that time.  If you order both in stock items and backordered or personalized items, please note that your entire order will ship together. Please place 2 separate orders if you would like your in stock items without waiting. 

All package are typically mailed out First Class. If you would like your items to arrive faster or want insurance in the case of loss, damage, or theft, please upgrade to Priority Shipping at checkout. 

Please note that we are not responsible for lost or stolen packages. Please purchase Route Shipping Insurance in order to have your order protected. Once out of our hands, please understand that the responsibility is with the US Postal Service or UPS and not with Southern Mess Boutique LLC. The US Postal Service and UPS updates all tracking information and delivery notifications and we have no control over items reaching their final destination once in their hands. 

Priority Mail is the only option that allows for automatic insurance on your package. You must chose the Priority Mail option and pay for shipping in order to automatically gain this coverage. First Class packages are not insured.

In the unforseen event your package is lost or damaged in transit please notify us so we can assist you in filing a claim with USPS or UPS.  We hope that this never happens to you, but we will assist you in every way we can with contacting your post office and ensuring they do their due diligence in getting you taken care of. Please contact us with 48 hours of tracking status updated as delivered for package damages. We can not accept damage claims after 48 hours have passed. If you believe your item is defective please refer to our return policy.

We no longer have a local Pickup Option but shipping is always free on our website with orders over $75 for all domestic orders. 

The customer is responsible for all duty, tax, import, and/or any other government fees out of our control for International Orders. No refunds will be given for refusal to pay fees due to Country of Origin upon delivery. 

 Please note that if your package is returned to us you will be responsible for shipping to retrieve it. We will reach out via email and you will also see on tracking it was sent back for being unable to deliver. In the event we cannot reach you after 30 days we will issue a refund minus shipping costs and a 15% restocking fee.
