Shipping Info

Ready to Ship and in stock items will go out to you within 1-3 Business Days. We ship Monday-Friday and in the order that we receive. If you need something immediately please contact us and we will do our best to expedite it out but cannot guarantee arrival unless overnight shipping is purchased at the time of order.

For custom, backordered or personalized orders, Items will be shipped after the 2-3 week processing period, unless finished earlier in which I will gladly get it out to you. Backorder items with a date will ship approximately around that time.  If you order both in stock items and backordered or personalized items, please note that your entire order will ship together. Please place 2 separate orders if you would like your in stock items without waiting. 

All package are typically mailed out First Class. If you would like your items to arrive faster or want insurance in the case of loss, damage, or theft, please upgrade to Priority Shipping at checkout.

Please note that we are not responsible for lost or stolen packages. If you would like insurance on your order please indicate in the notes section and we will be glad to add it to your order and bill you for it. We can also add a signature confirmation option to ensure that you receive your package. Once out of our hands, please understand that the responsibility is with the US Postal Service and not with Southern Mess Boutique LLC. The US Postal Service updates all tracking information and delivery notifications and we have no control over items reaching their final destination once in their hands. 

Priority Mail is the only option that allows for automatic insurance on your package. You must chose the Priority Mail option and pay for shipping in order to automatically gain this coverage. First Class packages are not insured.

In the unforseen event your package is lost or damaged in transit please notify us so we can assist you in filing a claim with USPS. We hope that this never happens to you, but we will assist you in every way we can with contacting your post office and ensuring they do their due diligence in getting you taken care of. Please contact us with 48 hours of tracking status updated as delivered for package damages. We can not accept damage claims after 48 hours have passed. If you believe your item is defective please refer to our return policy.

We no longer have a local Pickup Option but shipping is always free on our website with orders over $75 and we gladly ship Nationwide.

 Please note that if your package is returned to us you will be responsible for shipping to retrieve it. We will reach out via email and you will also see on tracking it was sent back for being unable to deliver. In the event we cannot reach you after 30 days we will issue a refund minus shipping costs and a 15% restocking fee.
