Truth Bomb Time
You can be the sweetest, juiciest, prettiest peach in the bunch and there’s always going to be someone out there who says they don’t like peaches.
In fact, they will probably tell everyone else how much they don’t like peaches before they ever tell you. You will know by their actions, their priorities, and every red flag possible. You will feel it, know it, and still question it. Because I mean, you’re a peach. And who could possibly not love peaches?
But can I share something I’ve learned? Stop trying to convince people to like peaches when they’re never going to like peaches. Put all of that energy into those who love what you have to offer.
I’m probably more of a peach flavored whiskey than an actual peach anyway. I mean, swearing is part of my regular vocabulary. I’m loud. I’m animated. I will work insanely hard to make everything perfect. I love to cook for others and prepare for parties. I show my love with actions more than I ever do words.
I’m a dreamer and a doer. I pay attention to detail and I don’t forget things. If I’m passionate about it, you’ll know. Oh and I’m definitely an over sharer. I’ll almost never pass up an opportunity for travel or a girls night and I believe life is too short to waste. I believe in making memories and hard work. Entitlement doesn’t sit well with me and neither does excuses. I’ve been through many things in my life that should have crushed me. But they didn’t. They made me strong and resilient.
Hold those who love you close and the ones who stick around not only when it’s easy, but when it’s hard. Never lose sight of your integrity and morals. Believe in a better tomorrow but don’t take today for granted.
And don’t forget to check on your strong friends.
