Our Story
I'm a certified Type A perfection by nature. When it comes to being involved, I dive in with BOTH feet. In 2012 I began planning our wedding. I became obsessed. I wanted it ALL but there was no way I was about to pay for it. So, I did what any Type A girl would do. I designed it myself. From start to finish. I searched, bought, made, designed, created, you name it, I did it. I'm probably one of the few brides who set up and hosted their entire rehearsal dinner and got up at the crack of dawn on the day of her wedding to get my hands on every single detail going on at my reception.
I'm pretty sure that year Etsy earned a pretty penny from my new found obsession with all things unique, handmade and one of a kind. As my items came rolling in, I kept saying the same thing in my head, "I could do that." "I can make that." and even "I've gotta learn how to do that."
It took me another year to even try it out. After completing my Master's Degree, I asked my Mom for a Cricut machine. I was "going to make stuff". I had no idea how or with what but I was going to do it. My husband laughed. He reminded me of the time I was going to sew our own curtains. You know, with the sewing machine I HAD TO HAVE for Christmas one year and that was now collecting dust in my closet. The sewing machine that still sits in that very closet. Dust and All.
This time though was different. I really wanted to create stuff. I didn't really want to sew. So, what started out primarily as a hobby making gifts for friends and family, quickly turned into a business. I opened an Etsy store over a year ago with only 2 items in it and no sales but that soon changed. Since my etsy opening, we have grown into a full run web based boutique, attending numerous shows a year and hosting sale days at our farm. We have a goal of opening our first storefront within the next year.
We are a small, locally owned and ran business focused on products that are handcrafted and personalized making them as unique as you are. We also offer a little bit of everything from one of a kind hand painted wall decor, personalized gifts, bags, and jewelry to custom designed apparel and boutique items for woman and children and we keep on growing! We are a little bit Junk Gypsy, a little bit Southern Flair, a little bit of Rustic Elegance, and a whole lotta Monogram, Bows, and Lace!
We believe that excellent customer service and fair pricing are the most important aspects of our business and we strive for superior customer satisfaction.
Almost all of our boutique items are made right here in the United States. We are proud supporters of our community and our nation. We also believe that quality is much better then quantity. We are constantly partnering with other small businesses and working together for a common good.
We are located in the small town of Perryton, TX where we also operate a fully working farm that focuses on high quality animal husbandry and sustainable agricultural practices. Everything we do, we do with thoughtfulness and care.
